Arvida Memories Developed in 2011, the project entitled Arvida Memories collects, conserves and communicates life stories of long-standing Arvida residents who witnessed the development of the city since the mid 1920s. These precious stories, featuring anecdotes and memories, could thus provide explanations, beyond the archives, plans and photographs, of what it meant and still means to be born, to live and to work in the city of aluminum. |

Arvida | Aluminum City The Arvida Heritage Centre has produced this virtual exhibition which recalls the origins of Arvida through an interactive model of the city and describes its various construction phases. Numerous supplementary information supports this story. Educational activities are offered for schools. |
